There is research that now shows that men are much more prone to hearing loss, and hearing loss at an earlier age, than women. Now, I am in no way trying to justify any husband not listening to his wife, but I have to wonder if sometimes it just might be a physical deterioration contributiting to communications, and specifically listening issues.
The research shows that men suffer ear bone density loss at a greater rate than women. So, ladies, just to be sure he’s not bluffing you or trying to use this researxh as an excuse, here’s a tip: try saying something like “Honey, can you hear me?” or “Can I ask you something?” so he can affirm that he is in fact hearing you.
